About The Position

Wright Physicians’ Group in Trenton, MO is seeking an experienced and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our tight-knit team in a PRN capacity. This role offers flexible hours in a supportive clinic environment with a small-town feel, allowing you to make a meaningful impact without a full-time commitment. The position involves providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsibilities include screening walk-in patients, telephone screening, medication/injection education, assisting with procedures, wound care, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, biopsies, diabetic nail care, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate can work autonomously and in a team atmosphere, possesses excellent customer service skills, and maintains a professional demeanor. The LPN may delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) and may be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Active LPN license in Missouri
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Licensed Practical Nurse - Various

Responsibilities

  • Support providers in delivering patient care across all age groups
  • Assist with clinical procedures, vital signs, and documentation
  • Help maintain smooth daily operations in a fast-paced clinic setting
  • Deliver friendly, compassionate care that reflects our close community values
  • Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices

  • Other duties as assigned by respective clinic
  • Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as, autonomously
  • Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice
  • May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed
