About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for 50 years. They are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private duty positions, which involve working full shifts (8's, 10's, or 12's) with a single client for the entire shift. Nurses will work with local clients, often with short commutes. Common diagnoses encountered include TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery. LPNs with experience in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have transferable skills suitable for one-on-one home care. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• Directly transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, or school settings are well-equipped to handle one client in the home.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one client care in a home health care setting.
• Work full shifts (8's, 10's, or 12's) with a single client per shift.
• Manage common diagnoses such as TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery.
