About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Rosebud Village provides nursing care that supports residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role includes building meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories, creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere, and working with nursing and other facility teams to deliver coordinated care. The LPN promotes teamwork, maintains respectful communication, and demonstrates American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence. This is a full-time role with day, evening, and night shifts available.

Requirements

Hold a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.

Communicate with residents, families, customers, and staff in a way that supports a respectful and positive work environment.
Manage medications and conduct resident assessments, documenting changes in condition accurately.
