About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at the South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri. The LPN will provide comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated patients, delivering holistic nursing care within their scope of practice under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. This role involves responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Must be IV Certified
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
- Responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
