Licensed Practical Nurse - Crisis Receiving & Stabilization Center (Overnight)
About The Position
This overnight Licensed Practical Nurse position serves clients in the Crisis Receiving & Stabilization Center at New River Valley Community Services. The LPN manages psychiatric nursing and medication services for crisis stabilization program clients. The role includes helping clients obtain medication through state pharmacies or other programs, monitoring their responses to prescribed medications, and ensuring psychiatrists and/or nurse practitioners receive accurate information about clients’ responses and medication-related difficulties. The LPN also instructs program staff on the use of psychotropic medication with people who have mental illness and co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions. The starting salary range is $23.51–$27.04 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
- Valid Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse license.

Responsibilities
