Licensed Practical Nurse LVN - Full Time Days
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides nursing care within the scope of licensure to assigned patients, following established nursing standards and hospital policies and procedures. The role performs specific nursing services to promote and maintain health, prevent illness and injury, and provide care according to standards established or recognized by the Board of Nursing. These services are performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time day-shift position at Vista Specialty Hospital of West Monroe in West Monroe, Louisiana. The scheduled shift is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The position is designated safety-sensitive.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program for licensed practical nurses.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued in the state where the facility is located.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification preferred.
- At least one year of prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.
