Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and assist in delivering high-quality patient care. Requirements
- Current and active LPN license in KY.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a caring patient relationship.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- advanced certifications may be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist RNs and doctors in implementing patient care plans and interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Educate patients and their families on health management practices and medication administration.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in daily rounds, staff meetings, and other relevant training sessions.
- Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both patients and staff.
