About The Position

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to provide professional nursing care to residents in long-term care facilities. This is a full-time, 13-week contract position with evening shifts, scheduled as five 8-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and holiday. Pay is $38.00 or more per hour.

Requirements

• Current and valid New York State LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health status and promptly report changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and health information.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
