Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Arc Broward is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional health services to children in its Preschool and ABLE Program. Services include medication administration, routine medical assessments, daily triage of illnesses and injuries, record documentation and review, health screening, and health education. The nurse assesses each individual’s health care needs and works in an interdisciplinary team environment. The role operates under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and implements policies and procedures for medical, dental, dietary, pharmaceutical services, and nursing practices in accordance with agency and regulatory standards. Arc Broward is a nonprofit organization serving people with developmental disabilities and other life challenges. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Hold a current Florida LPN license to practice nursing.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience.
- Successfully complete a Level II background check, physical, and drug screen.

Responsibilities
- Provide quality professional health services to children in the Preschool and ABLE Program.
- Administer medications and conduct routine medical assessments.
