Requirements

At least 1 year of nursing experience (Pediatric experience is a major plus!).
A current Commonwealth of Virginia Nursing License.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and active CPR certification.
Someone who stays calm in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and maintains the highest standards of patient confidentiality.
Competent in operating medical equipment and instruments to provide top-tier patient care.
Skilled in applying and modifying the principles and techniques of professional nursing to meet each patient’s unique needs.
Knowledge required to maintain a safe work environment and the ability to strictly uphold quality control standards.
Proven ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Can easily interpret, adapt, and apply office guidelines and procedures as clinical needs evolve.
Communicate clearly and work effectively with co-workers, all while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality for our patients' clinical information.

Responsibilities

Administering immunizations, providing treatments, and assisting providers with examinations.
Greeting families, prepping little ones for their visits, and providing much-needed education and reassurance to parents.
Ensuring medical records are meticulously updated and managing referrals to ensure our patients get the specialized care they need.
Maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment in our exam rooms.
