About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. The position follows applicable laws and regulations as well as Life Care standards. The LPN monitors and reports changes in patients’ conditions and assigns duties, instructs, and provides clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current license or registration in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
- Knowledge and competence in delivering quality nursing care to patients.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients.
