About The Position

Prairie Village Nursing & Rehab is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time evening and night shift opportunities. LPNs build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role involves providing supportive, coordinated care and contributing to a respectful, positive team environment. Requirements

Hold a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
Work with the team toward excellent resident care.
Support a respectful and positive work environment.
Manage medications, conduct assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
