About The Position
BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one care to a client in their home. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and choose a schedule, with days, afternoons, evenings, and nights available. BAYADA provides paid orientation that includes virtual and hands-on training, onboarding support, and ongoing training opportunities.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one nearby client’s home according to a chosen schedule.
- Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
