The Licensed Practical Nurse will perform routine occupational health care activities. In this role, you will provide hands-on clinical care, assist in the evaluation and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses, support employee health and well-being, deliver health and wellness training and education, coordinate employee health services, and ensure compliance with occupational health programs and regulatory requirements. Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Kansas or active multistate Compact LPN/LVN license.
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with occupational health programs.
- In accordance with established procedures, conduct our safety and ergonomic training and administer the basics of drug and alcohol programs.
- Plan and implement compliance improvement projects and their deliverables.
- Under general supervision of a registered nurse, treat, evaluate and assess employee illness or injury to ascertain medical direction.
- Help develop, formulate and implement plans of care based on standing orders and medical directives.
- Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
