Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Weekend $35-$40/hr
About The Position
BAYADA is actively seeking reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our private duty team for essential weekend coverage in Passaic County. This role offers enhanced, premium weekend rates of $35.00 to $40.00 per hour for nurses who commit to working three or more weekends per month. This is an opportunity to significantly increase earning potential while providing crucial, one-on-one care to a single client in a home setting. Private duty nursing offers traditional shift types (8s, 10s, or 12s), hands-on care with one client, and the chance to build client relationships and witness their milestones. Client age ranges from infant to geriatric. Your day will involve traveling to one client home near you on a schedule you choose, following up with and documenting doctors' orders, performing assessments, and monitoring clients' conditions.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current New Jersey nursing license in good standing
- Commitment to working three or more weekends per month
- A minimum of five months of LPN experience
Responsibilities
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluation
