About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that support patients in attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions, as well as assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Current licensure or registration in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Knowledge and competence in delivering quality nursing care.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
