The LPN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. The LPN provides support and direction to the Health Care Aides. The LPN is an active member of the interdisciplinary team and is accountable for providing safe and competent nursing care within the scope of LPN practice. The LPN working at Grace Manor reports to the Clinical Education Manager and must demonstrate knowledge and be familiar with care of mental health clients. The LPN working at Supported Housing reports to the Resident Care Manager and must demonstrate knowledge and be familiar with the care of mental health clients. Both programs have 24/7 Licensed Practical Nurse(s) with Health Care Aide(s). A Recreation Therapist and Admin Support are available during the day shift, Monday to Friday. Support is available 24/7 for nursing staff. At Edmonton Center of Hope, we strive to improve our tools and processes so we can continue to provide excellent care and services.
