About The Position

Our Advance Urology Associate Clinic is now seeking an LPN to join their team! This is a Full-Time Day position with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. There are no weekends or holidays required. The role involves providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsibilities include telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care. The LPN will schedule emergent need patient appointments, identify learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, insert intravenous access with medication administration, and perform other duties as assigned based on clinic need. The position also involves delegating tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and Scope of Practice, acting as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. The LPN will enter admission orders as directed by the provider and manage expired samples. The role requires the ability to work both in a team atmosphere and autonomously, with excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

  • LPN MO and KS required
  • 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Associate Degree

Nice To Haves

  • Urology background experience preferred
  • Experience with catheter placement/exchange preferred
