About The Position
Now hiring a qualified LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse with Psychiatric or related nursing experience for a contract near Warm Springs, MT! Local and travel candidates welcome to apply! This is a 26-week direct contract with a high potential to extend. We offer a quick feedback and expedited credentialing process with in-house experts. 12-hour shifts, both days and nights available.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Psych, Corrections, ER or related nursing experience.
- MT or Multi State LPN License in good standing.
- Active BLS.
- Clean background check upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patients: Taking medical history, observing patients, and performing initial evaluations.
- Monitoring patients: Recording behavior, observing progress, and reporting on changes.
- Providing care: Providing basic care, psychological support, and nursing care.
- Teaching patients: Teaching self-care activities and how to manage their condition.
- Educating families and communities: Providing education about patients' condition.
- Facilitating social events: Helping patients build confidence and social skills by coordinating classes or other activities.
