About The Position

Whispering Creek is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for evening coverage (3pm–11pm, every other weekend; .8–1.0 FTE). This role exists to keep residents safe, comfortable, and well-cared for during the evening shift through strong clinical judgment and clear communication. As a Registered Nurse on evenings, you’ll start by getting a clear handoff, then settle into a steady rhythm of resident check-ins, documentation, and coordination with CNAs and other staff. You’ll handle time-sensitive needs as they come up, keep families informed when appropriate, and make sure orders and notes are up to date before shift change. The pace can vary, but the focus stays the same: calm, consistent care from start of shift to report-out.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license in Minnesota
• Ability to work onsite in Janesville, MN
• Solid documentation, prioritization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide resident assessments, nursing care, and follow-up
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policy
• Document accurately and report changes promptly
• Coordinate with the care team and communicate with families as needed
