About The Position

Via Christi St. Francis is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for their Observation Telemetry unit. This role involves comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, diagnostic support, and patient education. The position is located in Wichita, KS, and offers a night schedule. Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• IV Certification: You must possess a current IV Certification at the time of hire to perform essential functions.

• Safely administer medications and treatments, maintaining a vigilant eye for adverse reactions to ensure the highest standards of patient safety.
• Execute vital laboratory tests and therapeutic services that form the backbone of the diagnostic process.
• Empower patients and their families by demystifying complex treatment plans, serving as the essential link to their recovery, and providing clear guidance and resources for a confident transition to self-care and long-term wellness.
