The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works with the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Medical Director to provide comprehensive, on- and off-site clinical services to members enrolled in the MAT program. They provide medical and support services, including injections, lab coordination, pharmacy coordination, teaching wellness classes, taking vitals, and coordinating with psychiatric and medical providers to ensure appropriate medical care for MAT program participants. The role is responsible for strategic planning, resource management, and process improvement across service groupings. It oversees the implementation of active treatment and nursing care for patients, manages staffing levels, establishes cost control programs, and implements new programs/services. Additionally, it establishes quality measures and standards for continuous quality improvement and develops, maintains, and communicates departmental policies, procedures, and practices.
