The Central Jersey Medical Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center in the state of NJ seeking a full time Licensed Practical Nurse Manager-IM. Requirements

  • Diploma from a technical school/nursing school
  • NJ State LPN License
  • Knowledge of EHR database software
  • Valid CPR National Certification
  • Speak, read, write Spanish fluently

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and minimal wait times
  • Ensure clinic readiness, including staffing, room availability, and workflow efficiency
  • Supervise 6-10 MA's
  • Coordinate hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage at all times
  • Address performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Promote a high standard of customer service and patient satisfaction
  • Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints in a timely manner
  • Manage ordering and inventory of all clinical and office supplies
  • Establish and maintain par levels to ensure adequate stock availability
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and monitor for expired or wasted supplies
  • Ensure proper storage conditions, including temperature-sensitive items
  • Coordinate with vendors and monitor supply utilization and costs
  • Review and approve employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance
  • Track staff attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping issues
  • Manage and approve PTO requests while ensuring appropriate staffing coverage
  • Coordinate with HR and payroll regarding timekeeping discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of staff schedules and leave
  • Serve as liaison between providers, clinical staff, and administration
  • Communicate workflow changes, updates, and policy implementations
  • Lead or participate in staff meetings and operational huddles
  • Coordinate with external partners (labs, vendors, hospital partners)
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date logs for: Inventory and supply tracking, POC testing (QC, maintenance, and compliance logs), Staff timekeeping and PTO tracking
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and audit-ready for regulatory reviews
