Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Central Arkansas - Clinic Based - Days
About The Position
Arisa Health is growing, and we are searching for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to support our Central Arkansas Outpatient Clinics. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will have experience working with adults in a clinical setting to provide direct care including checking vital signs, administering medications and injections, and working with insurance to approve some of the medications for our clients. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a mental health facility. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties. This position is classified as full- time, non-exempt (hourly) Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Requirements
- Associate degree or advanced specialized training
- Arkansas LPN Licensed
- One year experience as an LPN
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Valid AR Driver's License and a good driving record.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement physician orders.
- Administer medications, draw blood, or administer other tests or procedures as ordered.
- Complete appropriate records and documentation.
