About The Position

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Smith is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Rehabilitation team. This role involves providing compassionate care to patients alongside Registered Nurses (RNs), assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety in a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care. The LPN will contribute by utilizing specialized plan-of-care interventions and serving as a patient-care innovator, shaping exceptional patient journeys and leveraging skills and technology to impact patient wellbeing.

Requirements

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Critical thinking skills
• Decisive judgement
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Active Arkansas or compact state LPN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Associate's Degree required

• One year previous experience preferred
