The Role We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This role will report into the Director of Nursing in Florida. This is a hourly opportunity based in Miami, FL. As an LPN, you will provide essential care to children with complex medical needs in the comfort of their own homes.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Florida
  • At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience, home health experience preferred
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation throughout Miami-Dade County
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and manage treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform skilled nursing tasks such as managing feeding tubes and monitoring respiratory conditions.
  • Assess patients' health status and report changes in their condition.
  • Implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate and support families in providing daily care for their children.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
