About The Position
This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working the 3-11 PM shift. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, assisting Registered Nurses (RNs), monitoring resident conditions, accurate documentation, and supporting resident mobility and personal care.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the applicable state.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a geriatric care setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of resident care plans and provide basic medical care, such as dressing wounds and taking vital signs.
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
- Assist RNs in carrying out care plans and follow their directives.
- Monitor residents conditions and report changes to the RN or physician.
- Record patient information and updates accurately in medical charts.
- Assist with resident mobility and personal care activities as needed.
