About The Position

The OBGYN Clinic at Stony Point is seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join their diverse and fun team. This role will play a key part in providing comprehensive healthcare to patients across the lifespan, offering guidance and support for a wide range of women's health matters. The LPN will integrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet patient and family needs, assist the healthcare team with illness prevention, wellness maintenance, and comfort provision. This role also provides direction, education, and begins to assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level. The LPN will deliver and accurately document direct, age-specific care based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care, and safely administer prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions.

Requirements

  • LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible
  • Current LPN Licensure in Virginia
  • AHA BLS Certification or equivalent
  • Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing
  • Lifting 50-100 lbs.
  • Exposure to potentially hazardous and infectious substances

Responsibilities
