Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Rose Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Full-Time LPN to join our team! This role involves assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities, and promoting an independent lifestyle. The LPN is responsible for identifying medical and behavioral changes in residents, developing and monitoring care plans, and reassessing residents. They will provide a daily report to the Director of Health Services regarding community conditions, personnel performance, and resident needs. The LPN will also provide nursing care according to physician's orders and established standards, ensuring preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services, and coordinating nursing care with other disciplines.
Requirements
- Current nursing license valid in state worked
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community
- An employment history & physical exam, tuberculin skin test or chest X-ray, drug screen, criminal background screening, employment references from previous employers, and verification with the OIG list of excluded individuals/entities to confirm your eligibility to work in health care is required.
Nice To Haves
- At least one (1) year experience in skilled facility preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
- Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
- Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
- Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
