About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, Illinois. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. This role operates under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
- Working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff
- Responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs
