Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Jonesboro IDD Facility - Weekend Nights
About The Position
Arisa Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support their IDD TC Program in Jonesboro. This role serves individuals with mental health needs, including those with co-occurring intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The LPN will provide direct care, including checking vital signs, administering medications and injections, and working with insurance for medication approvals. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a mental health facility. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest nonprofit behavioral health provider, offering a wide range of services across 41 counties. This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.
Requirements
- Associate degree or advanced specialized training
- Arkansas LPN License
- One year experience as an LPN
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Valid AR Driver's License and a good driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with adults in a clinical setting
- Experience working in a mental health facility
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement physician orders.
- Administer medications, draw blood, or administer other tests or procedures as ordered.
- Complete appropriate records and documentation.
