About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric or adult care to join its Passaic County team. The role provides one-on-one private duty nursing in a client’s home, with clients ranging in age from infant to geriatric and across diagnoses and acuity levels. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and work a schedule chosen based on their availability. Private duty nursing offers traditional 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and the opportunity to build relationships with clients and observe their milestones.

The position includes paid training in the office, in the home, and online; practice in adult and pediatric simulation labs; around-the-clock clinical support by phone; and electronic charting using Statewise. Compensation is $30.00–$36.00 per hour. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• At least five months of LPN experience.
• Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes.
