About The Position

CNS Cares is seeking full-time and part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private in-home care. As a direct care professional, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care and build close relationships with patients, allowing them to remain independent and live in their own homes. Requirements

• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN in the state(s) of practice.
• Current hands-on BLS certification.
• Current TB test.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations.
• Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Must be able to provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees.
• Proactively identify Company risks and institute policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance using related law and industry data.
• Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; possess ability to analyze data from different sources to draw conclusions; utilize effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
• Maintain current state licensure.
• Maintain current liability and malpractice insurance, if applicable.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Valid and current CPR Certification.
• Valid and current License Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Pass drug screening.
• Pass driving record check.
• Pass OIG Exclusion List check.
• Pass Sex Offender Registry check.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of in-home health care experience.
• Every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday).
• Willing to travel up to 60 miles.
• Willing to work in multiple homes (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients in their homes.
• Build close relationships with patients.

• Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.
• Work as part of a supportive team.
• Provide one-on-one patient care.
• Supervise patient care in each state where applicable.
