Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and continue learning
- Understanding of (or willingness to learn) state and federal long-term care regulations
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Coordinate with physicians, residents, and families regarding care changes
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately
- Provide hands-on nursing care including tube feedings, wound care, catheterization, and related services
- Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed
- Advocate for residents to ensure care aligns with their plans and preferences
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
