Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Per Diem (PRN) - All Shifts
About The Position
We are Harmony Hills Behavioral Health (HHBH), a longstanding residential treatment facility serving adults with primary mental health disorders, in central Florida. We are in Altoona, FL, less than one hour North of Orlando. Our serene, rural setting allows guests to heal away from the stresses of everyday life. Through both evidence-based and holistic treatment therapies, our guests heal in mind, body, and spirit. We are looking for a compassionate Nurses to provide excellent care in a residential treatment facility serving individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Requirements
- Minimum of (2) years of experience as in a mental health environment.
- Able to work the schedule as above noted for each role.
- Able to pass a AHCA level 2 background check.
- Active FL LPN (REQUIRED)
Nice To Haves
- Background in home health, ER acute care and residential treatment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Medication administration
- Daily nursing assessment to evaluate physical health and mental health, including risk to self/other
- Documentation in EMR of medication compliance, assessment results, and physician orders
- Milieu Management: assisting guests with self-regulation and maintaining safety
- Participation in treatment team; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to include Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, ARNPs, and Mental Health Therapists.
