About The Position
The Immersion School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plans health programs, coordinates, and provides health care services to students, clients, and staff for Cherokee Language Immersion School.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
- Must have intermediate proficiency in the Cherokee Language.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Ability to hold strict confidentiality
- Intermediate computer and math skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
- Must possess or obtain CPR and first aid certification within six (6) months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
- Must possess or obtain a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within six (6) months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
- The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
- Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for childcare.
