Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Night Shift
About The Position
Join the Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our Lexington Community Hospice House! This is a Full-Time Night Shift position (7pm-7am). We are looking for hospice licensed practical nurses (LPNs) who are committed to creating meaningful patient experiences. As a hospice licensed practical nurse (LPN), you’ll work under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse to conduct patient visits and provide routine care, while communicating with the care team, the patient and their family. Our LPNs have access to supportive leadership and professional development opportunities with room for advancement.
Requirements
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a licensed practical nurse.
- 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting, or equivalent experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Hospice experience preferred.
