About The Position

CNS Cares is seeking full-time and part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private in-home care. As a direct care professional in home healthcare, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care and build close relationships. Our approach is to put care first in all that we do. Requirements

Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN in the state(s) of practice
Current hands-on BLS certification and TB test
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations.
Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse license to practice professional nursing in each state where patient care is supervised, current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Valid and current CPR Certification
Valid and current License Practical Nurse license in the state of practice

Nice To Haves

2 years of in-home health care experience
Every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Willing to travel up to 60 miles
Willing to work in multiple homes (if applicable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and build close relationships with patients.
Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.
Provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees.
Proactively identify Company risks and institute policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance using related law and industry data.
Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; possess ability to analyze data from different sources to draw conclusions; utilize effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
Maintain current state licensure.
Maintain current liability and malpractice insurance, if applicable.
Provide one-on-one patient care.
