About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a non-profit healthcare system in Helena, MT, to hire dedicated LPNs. In this role, you will provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes. As a Clinic Float Pool LPN, you will provide patient care across multiple clinic locations, supporting teams where needed. Opportunities include Clinic Float Pool (Full-Time/PRN), Orthopedic Clinic (Full-Time), Family Practice (1.0 FTE & 0.8 FTE), and Urgent Care (0.9 FTE, 12 Hr Shifts).

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or technical school of nursing
  • 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Active Montana LPN license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (re-certification every 2 years)
  • IV Certification required within 6 months of hire through an approved nursing education program or a pre-licensure nursing education program

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Conduct focused nursing assessments by collecting, documenting, and communicating patient information accurately and promptly
  • Monitor patient status, recognize changes or abnormal findings, and communicate updates to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that support patient comfort, wellbeing, and education
