Miracle City Hospice is hiring a LPN CC Day Shift Nurse to support Broadview and surrounding counties. Shift Information: 3- 12 hour shifts 7a-7p with every other weekend What We offer: Great culture and team atmosphere Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, effective on the first of the month 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company match Generous time off accruals Paid holidays Mileage reimbursement Tuition Reimbursement Employee Referral Program Hospice Certification benefit and salary increase Merit Increases Employee Discount Programs What Youll Do: Provide direct patient care as defined in State Nurse Practice Act Implement current nursing practice following a comprehensive assessment and the plan of care Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient services to reflect the plan of care Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and self-plan of care Participate in the coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group. Provide appropriate pain/symptom management. Evaluates the patients response to treatments/medications
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or a vocational nursing program
- Three years of nursing experience.
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state
- Must possess current CPR Certification
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
- Valid drivers license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements
- Understands the philosophy of hospice concept and the needs of the terminally ill
Nice To Haves
- Community health, hospice or medical/surgical experience is preferred
