About The Position

South Hills Rehabilitation Center, part of the Volare Health family, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives while being supported with competitive wages and career growth opportunities. Both newly licensed and experienced nurses are welcome. The position is on-call (PRN) with no guaranteed shifts.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of practice
• Ability to work 1-2 shifts per week, 2 weekend shifts per month (Required)
• Strong assessment and care planning skills
• Leadership ability to guide CNAs and care staff
• Commitment to resident-centered care

Nice To Haves

• New nurses can participate in a 3-month Long Term Care New Nurse Residency, involving the Geri-Res residency curriculum and a structured onsite mentorship.
• Experienced nurses new to long term care are also eligible for the residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents and assess their individual needs
• Develop and implement personalized care plans
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Deliver care with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others
