On-Call Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
French Prairie Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, part of the Volare Health family, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The center welcomes both newly licensed and experienced nurses to join their compassionate team. As an LPN, you will provide quality nursing care, assess resident needs, develop and implement care plans, supervise CNAs and other staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver care with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of practice
- Ability to work 1-2 shifts per week, 2 weekend shifts per month (Required)
- Strong assessment and care planning skills
- Leadership ability to guide CNAs and care staff
- Commitment to resident-centered care
Nice To Haves
- New nurses can participate in a 3-month Long Term Care New Nurse Residency, involving the Geri-Res residency curriculum and a structured onsite mentorship.
- Experienced nurses new to long term care are also eligible for the residency program.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to residents and assess their individual needs
- Develop and implement personalized care plans
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Deliver care with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others
