About The Position

Accountable for immunizations/inoculations to prevent the spread of communicable disease. This position is a seasonal position that begins October 5th and runs for roughly 6-8 weeks. • Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing
• An active license in the state of practice
• 1-3 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Administering immunizations in a manner consistent with good nursing practice and coordinate immunization programs.
• Following up on immunizations and assuring proper record keeping.
• Observing, recording and reporting employee’s reactions to drugs and treatments to appropriate individual.
• Maintaining inoculation rooms for necessary supplies and materials.
• Ensuring cleanliness.
• Preparing lists of medical supplies needed.
• Occasionally traveling to owned or managed facilities as directed.
