Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Day and Night Shift available

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse License in the State of Tennessee or eligible compact license
- Must be CPR Certified

- One-year direct care experience in a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities
- Provides general nursing care as required.
- Develops a therapeutic relationship with assigned residents.
- Distribute medication as prescribed and properly maintain the MARS.
- Serve as a role model for residents and peers.
- Establish and maintain professional contact with the resident’s physician and psychotherapist to assist in planning the resident’s care.
- Model and teach appropriate life skills to the patients.
- Admits, discharges and transfers residents based on physician’s orders and sometimes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Intervene appropriately to de-escalate residents as needed. Providing quality and excellent nursing care to assigned behavioral health children and adolescents
