Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Searcy - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Arisa Health is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join their residential facility in Searcy. The LPN will provide direct care to adults, including checking vital signs, administering medications and injections, and obtaining specimens for testing. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a mental health facility. Arisa Health is a non-profit behavioral health provider in Arkansas, offering a range of services including outpatient, crisis, substance abuse counseling, and residential services across 41 counties. This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position reporting to the Program Coordinator.
Requirements
- Arkansas LPN License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
Nice To Haves
- One year experience as an LPN preferred but required
- Experience working with adults in a clinical setting
- Experience administering medications and injections
- Experience obtaining specimens for testing
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement physician orders.
- Administer medications, draw blood, or administer other tests or procedures as ordered.
- Complete appropriate records and documentation.
