Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - 12 Hour Day Shift
About The Position
Forest Hills of DC is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. This role is responsible for medication administration, resident assessment, and care coordination. The LPN will document nursing interventions, communicate with physicians and healthcare team members, provide oversight to Care Partners, and develop resident care plans. Requirements
- Current LPN license from the District of Columbia
- Current CPR license
Responsibilities
- Medication administration, assessment, and coordination of care for assigned residents.
- Document nursing intervention, resident response, effectiveness, complications, etc.; communicates information to physician and other Health Team members.
- Provide direct oversight for Care Partners, ensuring quality of care.
- Develop short and long-term goals and Care Plans for residents.
