Requirements

• Current LPN license; psychiatric experience preferred.
• BLS certification; CPI/PMAB or equivalent de‑escalation training (or obtained after hire).
• Team‑first mindset and reliability across 12‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform focused assessments; report changes promptly to the RN/Provider.
• Administer medications (including long‑acting injectables); perform wound care and routine treatments.
• Support crisis intervention with therapeutic communication, grounding techniques, and milieu management.
• Assist with admissions, belongings searches, vitals, labs, and discharge readiness.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and reinforce patient/family education.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
