About The Position

Americare is a leading senior living and healthcare provider with over 40 years of experience. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Dogwood Pointe community in Milan, TN. This role offers a supportive and uplifting work environment where you can make a daily difference in seniors' lives. As an LPN in Assisted Living, you will provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care, support the caregiving team, and work with a Regional Nurse Consultant to ensure care is delivered within state guidelines and best practices. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, caregivers, and healthcare partners
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for senior care and resident advocacy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
  • Support and guide caregiving staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
  • Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing monitoring of changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
  • Maintain professional relationships with physicians, office staff, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Nurse Consultant and community leadership to support clinical best practices.
  • Support orientation and training of care team members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and home-like environment for residents.
