1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for Pediatric or Adult care to join their Passaic County team. They emphasize providing high-quality care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to clients, with short commute times. Private duty nursing differs from home health visits by offering traditional shift types (8, 10, or 12 hours) and focusing on hands-on care with a single client, allowing for relationship building and observing client milestones. Client age ranges from infant to geriatric.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A minimum of five months of LPN experience
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluation
