About The Position
The LPN works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor. This candidate must be self-motivated, action-oriented, and compassionate about care of their patients in the community.
Requirements
- Current LPN license to practice in the State of Maryland or compact state
- CPR Certification
- Adequate typing skills to be able to enter data into the EHR efficiently
- Basic computer skills to include launching applications, managing ‘Windows’ and Templates in the EHR, and using a Tablet PC
- Normal vision and hearing required.
- Ability to articulate and comprehend the spoken English language, in addition to being able to read and write the English language.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric and Family Practice Experience preferred but will consider new graduates
Responsibilities
- Complete patient assessments
- Administers medications as ordered by the providers
- Performs lab tests such as A1C, EKG's, and urinalysis
- Charts accurately in patient EHR
- Provides patient support and education for testing and procedures
- Performs tasks ordered by providers and contacts patients with test results
- Other duties assigned
